Indications

Supply in cases of increased demand for thioctic acid (during intense physical labor),

Leigh syndrome(subacute necrotizing encephalomyelitis), ototoxicity (due to streptomycin and kanamycin),

and noise-induced (occupational) sensorineural hearing loss.

Dosage and Administration
Administer thioctic acid intravenously at a usual dose of 10 to 25 mg once daily for adults.
Adjust the dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.

Indications

Prevention of neurotoxicity associated with cisplatin or similar chemotherapeutic agents.

Dosage and Administration
In severe cases, administer 600 to 1200 mg daily via intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion.
In cases treated over several days or in mild cases, administer 300 to 600 mg daily via intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion.
